"Muscle and Dust"

Ann has always loved the big powerful draft horses. I think they remind her of me--maybe a few years ago. At this pull the dust was flying and the horses were straining. Some aspects of these events are alomst impossible for a modern people to understand. This one took place in Elizabeth Colorado.

It is a 24" x 36" painting on canvas.

"Canyon Breeze"

This large painting was done with the setting in the back of our home in Colorado. It is a fall day and the chimisa is blooming and the wind is out of the west. The model is our daughter. Ann loves to use her as a model for reasons I cannot guess--Duh.

This painting will be showing in the Bergstrom-Mahler Museum in Neenah, Wisconsin starting Jan 20, '08

This painting is a 36" x 24" on linen canvas. It is framed in a guilded handmade frame.
