"Dominique I"

We have always had chickens, except for right now. They are wonderful companions, a great source of entertainment and painting models for Ann. They can also be an interesting offering in a bird feeder. It seems that when our chickens on the ranch in Colorado, ran loose, we would get more raptors. The eagles really liked them and so did the Red Tails. We loved the sightings but did not like them borrowing our fowl. We had controls called a pen when the avian visitation was on the rise. Dominique is a breed of chicken but is also a wonderful name for a woman. Together in quiet praise, they make a fine sculpture.
