                                                              From our home here in the quiet town of Amherst Wisconsin. we have launched a website aimed at showing our latest work, be it paintings, sculpture or writing.  It is our hope that the art pieces find a new home and the journal (blog) provides a little entertainment. You will have to be the judge of that, of course. (I have now gone to a real blog ( http://davidkingwright.blogspot.com ).

        In the many pages that follow, we are showing much of the work that is presently available. Some of the pieces are in shows, others are in fine galleries in this state and in distant lands. We will try to represent where each is and the approximate price. Some pieces may have recently sold and that will be so stated. I will make every effort to keep the site current and provide our customers with up-to-date information on our work. (updated June 24, 2010)

Ann just finished this painting of a boat moored in Door County. We were drifting around the harbors of Lake Michigan and found many rather interesting crafts. It was evening and the light was warm and intriguing. As of Dec. it is still wet but will go on the market soon.

                                              Two Alewives on a Rock

                               In Wisconsin, yup that is where we are, there are fish in great profusion.

                               These are two very dead ones drying on a Lake Michigan  rock.  The

                                small Alewives are the food fish for the big ones I like to catch. By

                               looking in the journal you will, in fact, see me with one. This piece

                               just finished being shown at the Gilcrease Museum in Tulsa, OK. It

                               did not sell, so this is your opportunity for a nice purchase.
